Basics:
The Shareware (free) version of Eagle Lander 3D (EL3D) has a fixed mission/scenario. It includes the last minutes of manual flight of the Apollo 11 landing. All of the basic features of EL3D are available: multiple views, EVA, scoring, graphics options, Replay (playback only), etc.

Registration includes:
Multiple missions and scenarios. Missions 12,15,17, LM Racing and Orbital modules become available. Any plug-in mission will work and as more are added the amount of missions and scenarios will grow.
Longer and more sophisticated flight. The unregistered flight is a short flight from low altitude. The registered version includes a longer landing flight from about 8000' , indefinite flight in the Orbital mode as well as rendezvous and docking capabilities. The longer flight demonstrates the Landing Point Designator (LPD) and special computer operation for re-designating the landing spot.
Saving Replays The Shareware version of EL3D allows loading and playing of replays. Registration allows the ability to save replays.
Parameter changes. Each mission has a .sit file that contains customizable parameters such as startup fuel, locations, speeds, altitudes, etc.
